Belinda studied Theatre and Dance (BA: Joint Honours) at De Montfort University and then went on to do a postgraduate PGCE specialising in Drama at the University of Reading.
Belinda taught Drama, Musical Theatre and Dance for 16 years in a secondary comprehensive school, and throughout this time, became the Subject Leader and Faculty Leader for the Creative Arts.
She has a vast experience of working with a wide range of diverse young people and adults, always seeking ways to make the Arts accessible to all. This was not only in a classroom setting, but through the extensive extra-curricular work that she developed and led.
Belinda joined Stopgap in 2023 as Creative Learning Manager.
