How we collect your personal information
Generally, we collect your information when you decide to interact with us. This could be where you sign up to receive emails from us, when you apply for training with us, or when you are part of one of our programmes. We also look at how our audience use our website, so that we can offer the best possible experience (such as making sure you can find the information you want easily).

  • When you sign up to our e-newsletter via our website
  • When you request to be added to our e-newsletter mailing list in person, over the phone or by email.

We will only ever use your personal data with your consent and for the purpose or purposes it was collected for (or for a closely related purpose within our own lawful interests, provided your rights don’t override these). We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties/partners that we think you may find interesting, but these communications will always come from Stopgap Dance Company and will depend on your contact preferences.

We ask our supporters to ‘opt-in’ to receiving communications. If you sign up to the mailing list, we will send you promotional emails and newsletters about our productions, workshop opportunities or other information which we think you may find interesting, using the email address and preferences which you have provided.
