Inclusive dance and IRIS teacher training

Inclusive dance and IRIS teacher training

Seedbed 2021 has now sold out.

We are currently exploring the possibility of running a second programme later this year. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for updates.

From February to May 2021 we will be joined by artists and dance teachers with a range of different lived experiences, as well as inclusive dance expertise. This is a chance to connect with other like-minded artists and facilitators and begin evolving a more inclusive way of teaching young dance enthusiasts.

Book on for as many sessions as you want, or attend all twelve collectively, which will enable teachers to access our inclusive dance teaching syllabus, IRIS, for free.

The programme features:

Inclusive Approach, Open Language with Laura Jones
Learning Differently with Cherie Brennan & Hannah Sampson
Sensory Moves with Nicky Norton
Inclusive Approach, Barriers and Social model with Laura Jones
Dancing for and with Visually Impaired young people with Holly Thomas & Freya Spencer
Exploring inclusive dance practice from a deaf perspective with Sara Rose
Neurodivergent Dancers with Laura Jones
Connecting with ‘hard to reach’ young people through dance with Hannah Martin-Reilly
Inclusive Approach, Finding a balance with Laura Jones
