Charlotte studied English and Drama (BA: Hons) at the University of Portsmouth. She started her career at the New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth as part of the marketing team.
She began working with Stopgap in 2011 as Administrator and went on to become Producer (Outdoor and Community Productions), during which time she produced Moon Language in collaboration with The Lights in Andover; The Seafarers with Norfolk & Norwich Festival and outdoor international tours of Bill & Bobby and The Awakening.
Charlotte then went on to be Producer at Nuffield Southampton Theatres in 2018 and 2019, before returning to Stopgap in 2020 as General Manager, alongside continuing as a freelance Arts Manager and Producer, working with companies such as Made By Katie Green; Stuart Waters; Dance Hub Birmingham; Photoworks; Aspex Gallery and UK Dance Network.
After 13 years with the company, Charlotte has now decided to pursue her full-time career as a freelance Arts Manager and Producer.
