Here & Where follows Stopgap’s apprentice company Sg2 on their return to the studio after the UK-wide lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
‘Dance Tapes’ is a series of four choreographies of speech and sound created by disabled dance artists from the UK, Japan, the Netherlands and Zimbabwe. The project is an intimate experience for audiences, highlighting the disabled dance artists’ lived experiences through an interweaving choreography of speech and sound. Alongside the audio choreography audiences can access artistic transcripts to accompany the pieces, deepening the experience.
