Camilla Guarino studied ballet and contemporary dance since childhood, and integrated her studies with theatrical and choreographic workshops. She worked with the choreographer Virgilio Sieni in 2015, after a laboratory of journalistic criticism held by Massimo Marino and AltreVelocità. Camilla graduated with a master thesis on the Academy on the Art of Gesture by Virgilio Sieni, and was involved as an interpreter and intern in the work of the artist. In 2015 she collaborated with the Biennale Danza in Venice and in 2018 she participated with the project Biennale College ASAC followed by Elisa Vaccarino. In 2020 she graduated to Master in dramaturgy at the Academy of Dramatic Art Silvio d’Amico. She created with Guiseppe Comuniello the performances Let me be and Pornodrama2 and she writes poetic audio descriptions for dance performances with the aim of making them accessible to visually impaired audiences.

Camilla Guarino si avvicina alla danza fin da piccola per poi integrare i suoi studi con laboratori teatrali, sul movimento e di scrittura. Si avvicina al coreografo Virgilio Sieni nel 2015, dopo un laboratorio di critica giornalistica tenuto da Massimo Marino e Altre Velocità. Laureata con una tesi magistrale su Virgilio Sieni, è coinvolta come interprete e stagista nel lavoro dell’artista. Nel 2015 collabora con la Biennale Danza di Venezia e nel 2018 vi partecipa con il progetto Biennale College ASAC seguito da Elisa Vaccarino. Nel 2020 si diploma al Master in drammaturgia presso l’Accademia Silvio d’Amico collaborando come tirocinante con Chiara Bersani. È autrice e interprete con Giuseppe Comuniello degli spettacoli Let me be e Pornodrama2 e scrive audiodescrizioni poetiche per spettacoli di danza e performance con lo scopo di renderle accessibili a un pubblico cieco e ipovedente.
