KJ joined Stopgap in 2019 for the creation of FROCK. KJ integrates release technique, flying low and yoga into her dance practice.
KJ began her training at The University of Chichester graduating with a 1st Class (Hons) degree in 2010, after which she went on to join Transitions Dance Company touring internationally and gaining a Masters Degree in Dance Performance from Trinity Laban.
During her professional career she has danced for a number of choreographers such as Akram Khan, Lila Dance, Flexer and Sandiland, James Wilton, Jorge Crecis, Tim Casson, Balbir Singh, Katie Green, Glass House Dance and currently performs for Commotion Dance and Stopgap.
Alongside performing KJ loves to teach and be involved in many different community projects. Teaching a full range of ages and abilities from professional class to pre school and up to adult. She works closely with Instep Dance Company and teaches as an associate lecturer at the University of Chichester. KJ is also a producer and qualified Yoga instructor when she not dancing.
