Ryan Marlon-Munroe

Ryan’s journey into clothes and costume design started during his dissertation on upcycling clothes during his dissertation for his degree from London Contemporary Dance School. Alongside Ryan’s evolution as a performer and dance creator Ryan continues to build his portfolio as a clothes and costume designer. A year after graduating Ryan got his first costume commission for ‘Meraki Movement’ – for the ‘East Wall’ performance commission by East London Dance, from there Ryan has created costume for dance performances including- ‘Feet off the ground’, ‘Tarek Khwiss Dance’, ‘Valerie Ebuwa’ and ‘Paddington Arts’. Ryan’s creativity is expanding now working with performance artists across the arts, including creative consultancy and  styling photography/digital formats. Ryan continues to upskill and explore possibilities for working and using sustainable materials. Ryan endeavours to push his artistry through visual arts with open mindedness, versatility and sense of environmental responsibility.
