Stopgap Dance Company performed a dance number to celebrate the achievements of Paralympic Team GB in Tokyo 2020. We danced to the track ‘Hope’ by Sigma featuring Carla Marie to deliver a unique night at The SSE Arena, Wembley.
The two hour show included epic story-telling, cutting-edge performance and collaborations and awe-inspiring big screen content as we proudly re-lived the magical moments from the Paralympics, alongside our athlete’s personal stories of passion, determination, spirit and emotion.
An exciting high octane event brought together our Paralympic heroes and some of the UK’s biggest artists and performers. Set against a backdrop of breath-taking and awe-inspiring Paralympic moments from Tokyo 2020, other live music artists included Jamie Cullum, James Arthur, Birdy, Ella Henderson, Dame Evelyn Glennie and Madness. Alongside Stopgap, Deaf Men Dancing, Joe Powell-Main with the Royal Ballet, ParaCheer International and Rachel Gadsden featured.
