Stopgap Dance Company presented a powerful dance performance of resilience and reinvention for BBC and Royal British Legion at the Festival of Remembrance 2023 at Royal Albert Hall. The performance saw the company reunite with the DJ duo Sigma, this time featuring Morgan to play ‘Adrenaline Rush’, which was accompanied by a full orchestra.
The dance performance was commissioned to mark the contribution of the Invictus Games, and it was watched by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla alongside other members of The Royal Family, the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the Leader of the Opposition Sir Keir Starmer and a full-house of service people and their families.
Performing at a packed out Albert Hall was a thrilling experience, and we were very proud to have presented the very best of inclusive dance at such a key event in front of important people.
