Protect Access to Work

#ProtectATW

The Department for Pensions and Work intends to make dangerous changes to the important support of Access to Work that would devastate Disabled creatives, collapse inclusive leadership and leave organisations and funders to face an unmanageable crisis. These changes are being made without transparency or consultation. We must come together to demand an urgent review and ensure disabled people are heard before irreversible damage is done.

Yes, these changes would impact directly on Stopgap. But this is bigger than us. This is about protecting our sector progress and leadership in equitable practice we have spent decades building.

We ask our government to recognise and value the contributions of Disabled people on our sector and wider society. Stopgap’s mission is to create an inclusive world where diversity is not just accepted but pursued.
