Lucy Glover joins us as Executive Producer. Lucy joins us from Dancers’ Career Development, where she has been the Programme Manager for Inclusion and Impact. Prior to that role, she was the Executive Producer for Body Politic Dance and Company Producer at Studio Wayne McGregor, managing a variety of national and international projects for the company.

Lucy says “I’m truly honoured to be invited to join the Stopgap Dance team and entrusted with Sho’s legacy. I’m excited to learn from the embodied 20-year history of the company and to begin a new chapter with Laura, Lucy, trustees, dancers, colleagues, and partners. I am passionate about co-creating an inclusive and equitable dance sector and society. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work alongside the talented team that drives this movement for change.

It’s especially joyful to arrive in time for the World and UK Premieres of ‘Lived Fiction’, the first cohort of Future Leaders, new European partnerships, and the ever-expanding creative learning work. Thank you Sho, for everything you have created, and for handing me this gift. I promise to take great care of it and everyone.”

Stopgap’s Co-Chair, Suzie Birchwood, welcomes Lucy and says:

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Lucy Glover as the new Executive Producer of Stopgap Dance Company. Lucy joins us with a distinguished background, having previously served at DCD and as Company Producer at Studio Wayne McGregor.

With a wealth of experience and deep passion for the Stopgap way of being, Lucy brings a fresh dynamic and energy into our organisation. Her leadership is poised to further elevate Stopgap Dance Company’s mission and vision as we continue to push boundaries and innovate audiences worldwide at the forefront of integrated dance.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Lucy as she joins our community.”
