Leadership in Action: Amplifying and advocating learning Disabled dance leaders

We are excited to be supporting People Dancing and Corali Dance Company as they present a one-day in-person event for learning Disabled dance leaders and their supporters.

At the symposium, Learning Disabled dance leaders from all over the UK will come together to meet, talk about what it means to be a dancer and dance leader, and of course have time to dance!

Engage with Stopgap at the Symposium

Our Senior Dance Artist, Hannah Sampson, will be sharing how Resident Choreographer, Chris Pavia, who has Down Syndrome has paved the way for Hannah to grow with the company.

Hannah will also be leading a gentle session exploring movement and sound. They will teach a short dance sequence from Stopgap’s latest indoor production Lived Fiction. Hannah will be assisted by Access Worker Abbie Thompson.
