Whether you are completing the volunteering element of your Duke of Edinburgh Award or want to try a new activity, volunteering with us is a fun and rewarding experience!

Volunteering with us is a great way to build teamwork and communication skills. Our youth and community groups provide support to help build your confidence within an inclusive setting. There is also opportunity to chat with Stopgap dancers who are featured on the AQA GCSE Dance Syllabus work Artificial Things.

The role of a volunteer includes:

  • Welcoming members at the start of the session
  • Helping out with things like setting up and tidying the space
  • Encouraging our members to engage in activities
  • Supporting with the creative process
  • Performing at our annual community platform each December
  • Dancing and having fun!
