If you or a young person you know are interested in what we get up to in our weekly Youth Dance Companies, then this is a great opportunity to meet our teachers and fellow dancers.
Spend the day with Stopgap teachers Cherie, Nicky & Chris, exploring fun dance tasks and learning creative skills!
We’ll be looking at the theme of ‘Unseen Force: AIR’, we are really interested in how this is something you can not only feel, but you can see the effects of, such as wind moving trees or leaves, or ships moving across the ocean.
Throughout the day we will also use drama and voice skills, and work with some poetry. Together, we’ll create a performance to share with friends and family at the end of the day.

Age/Experience: 12+ – Everyone is welcome, no previous dance experience needed, just an open mind and willingness to try and give everything a go.
