Image description: A group of dancers in dark blue overalls reach and pull against each other at low levels across the image. Further back towards the left, David, a white male dancer is standing on a block - elevated higher than the others, he stares off to the left with his left arm curved infant of him. The performance is taking place dockside, in the background is a wooden ship in black and muddy orange paint.
A huge congratulations to the 50-young dancers, the local practitioners, our dancers and Moulettes for a job very well done! Collaborating beyond 100-odd miles of distance between us was momumental, but the response and the 4-star reivew by The Guardian made it all worthwhile!
“A merry jig turned woozy as the dancers careened and lurched, as if losing their sea-legs to the pitch and yaw beneath their feet”
